The moment Obama was elected to be the next President of the United States of America I became overwhelmed with emotions. I started to sing "We Shall Overcome" but I changed the lyrics to "We have Overcame". And I pray that young black men in stand up and take their place America.

As a Black Canadian I grew-up with Martin Luther King Sr. in my home this day brings me back to remembering all the times my parents would not allow us to attend school because it was just the right thing to do during the time of the Anniversary of Mr. Martin Luther King Sr., death. WOW is the word I might use to discribe this WOW experience in my life that I have lived to witness unlike my parents who have taught us the greatness in our fellow citizen I am so proud to say that I am apart of this History in The Making may God bless President Obama/Mitchell and Family, it is great to know that we all will have the honor of knowing that we have a Great Family residing at the White House which I believe will never be the same again, may Praise and Honor go to our God without God none of this could be possible, I am excited to see the change in America my neighbouring Country. Blessings President Obama/Michell/Family. Congratulation's, Teena of Canada .
