Relaxers are Here To Stay

While fewer sisters may be opting to chemically straighten their hair, that does not mean that relaxers are totally a thing of the past. "From my viewpoint, relaxers are still in. There are a whole lot of relaxed women out there," assures Johnny Wright, hairstylist to First Lady Obama and Softsheen-Carson artistic director.
