I do want to congratulate Carmelo and La La on their son Kiyan. I will like to promote marriage and I'm glad they are together raising their son. Marriage is God's only confirmation for a relationship and we are doing things backwards like living together and having a baby first instead of waiting for the one partner to have sex and really getting to know the person, and then putting a ring on her finger, getting married and then having the baby. I'm not hating and I can't judge trust me but as I read the bible often and get clarity that's how we are suppose to begin our lives with one another.

The child is gorgeous and LaLa and Carmelo look good together. After being engaged all that time, the next appropriate step is to get married. Married is a serious matter so I can understand both of them if they feel they are comfortable with their situation right now....Maybe they will get married in the near future when the time is right. And the house they have together looks good... Best wishes to Carmelo and LaLa. It's a good thing to have both parents together with their child.. So please do the right thing and be together and get married. I have a child and things didn't work out with the baby father and I. He's married and I looking for the right person to be there for me and my son and possible start another family.

I think that La La and Carmelo are doing an excellent job raising their son in a healthy, loving, safe and stable environment together. Everyone keeps preaching marriage. Is it better for 2 people to be married and raise kids in a Hellish environment or is it better to have 2 parents that are not only committed to each other but to their child who are not married? A marriage does not equate to a healthy enviornment for kids. Who cares if she is black or hispanic? Truth be told we are all mixed with something just so you know.

Stop blaiming Carmelo for not committing to the relationship and marrying her. She is in control of her destiny, Lala ain't no spring chicken, she knew what she was doing having a baby out of wedlock. It is amazing how we blame the man for not committing. He was not her first man and she manage all these years not to get pregnant, so I think this is all a part or her plan. Nab a young NBA player. She just need to stop saying the she is his wife and she ain't. That is low.

Those of you making an issue about LaLa being featured on a "Black Magazine" because she isn't black, will need to make an issue with Carmelo being featured on here as well. Carmelo's father (deceased) was Puerto Rican and his mother is black. The bottom line is that the America and the world we live in will see them both as "black" people, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.

I think the most important thing we as people are forgetting is that none of us are perfect! As I sit here and look over these breathtaking photos of a family that is OBVIOUSLY living THEIR life, I ask myself how could anyone have the audacity to judge them and post such hurtful comments. Have we all forgotten that ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE? I am a 24-year old black female and I can only wish them the best!
