All Praise to Def Jam
VH1’s annual Hip Hop Honors, with this year’s show celebrating the 25th anniversary of Def Jam, premiered on October 13. We were at the taping to bring you exclusive coverage of the show. Host Tracy Morgan opened the night with a hilarious church bit, bestowing nothing but praise on the greatest rap label of all time.

Awww man I was just singing 'Regulators' YES-TER-DAY!! And Hip Hop has mos def changed but its effect on culture cannot be denied. NO other genre has touched so many ppl whether it be for better or worse. Every artist doesnt rep it right but to each its own.... Tracey Morgan is a nut..lol!

hip hop has taken an ugly turn in the 90's and present i use to love rap when it was mostly about dancing and having fun. now its about sex and being a hustler and other negative crap. and we listen to that crap and wonder why we can't come up as a people. every situation of ours is the worse in the country i'm not blaming it all on hip hop but it certainly helps by incouraging people to do bad things fornication, killings, getting high, ect.. when will we learn. its bad enough alot of hip hop is even played on the radio now we want to give it honors; when we all know most of it raps about trash, shame on us.
