I met Alicia Keyes in New Orleans at the Essence Music Festival she is gracious and down to earth. We talked for a few minutes -She's beautiful in person and she has a sultry speaking voice as well. Keep living your dream! |

So, I wonder if her and Swizz Beats are gonna go public. Since she broke up his marriage and he was at this shindig she hosted. I like some of her songs, but she reminds me of the mixed girls I went to school with that felt they had to prove they were "black" and be all street.. |

Aliciaa is the bomb, she is beautiful, graceful and can sing like a angel, she should record a song with Nicole Kidman's husband Keith. They were good when they sang together for the Diana event earlier this year. I buy her music because she reminds me of the women of the 70's and 80's music. She is so gifted and talented singer and woman. Get your head high and keep doing music your way. It is the bomb........... |

Since when is being street synonymous with being black? These women all look amazing. And they are super talented to boot and doing big things with their lives. Too bad some of us are such haters.
