2008 American Music Awards

LOVE Alicia Keys for bridging the gap between classical, hip-hop/rap and R&B with the "Alicia, Katheen Battle & Queen Latifah Finale". Hail to the Superwomen!!!! LOVE Beyonce'. Hands down the girl has talent. Not only can she sing AND dance while wearing stillettos, her attire was sexy and classy. That being said, what was up with "panties and garters" show from some of the other acts? S-L-E-A-Z-Y.

Everyone did a great job, the pics are beautiful. But My girl "B" took over the show when she performed, she had women of all shades fliping their hands to "Put a ring on it"....lol. She is a truly consistent performer while Dancing in her high stilettos and still maintaing her voice! I love it!

I generally don't like to make negative comments about people, especially my own African-American people. I do agree that Tocarra had on too much make-up. She's a beautiful young woman and she just needs a new make-up artist. As for Queen Latifah, I hope that she wakes up and sees that she needs an attitude adjustment. I know from an experience in the ATL that she is rude to her fans. And I have heard so many stories from others who have encountered her & experienced the same rude attitude. My husband & I stopped supporting her because of the ATL incidence. She's a beautiful black woman & I love supporting black people. I hope she realizes the changes that need to be made with her rude behavior before it affects her career.

THE SHOW WAS GOOD...I WONDERED Y ONLY 3 NOMINEES WERE IN EACH CATEGORY...AS FOR PERFORMANCES...I ONLY STAYED UP FOR BEE...SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL...SANG HER HEART OUT...DANCED THEM HEELS IN..AND HAD THE CROWD FLIPPING THEM HANDS...EVEN THE CAMERA CHANGED LENS FOR HER...LIKE IT WAS THE MAIN COURSE OF THE NITE'S MEAL...JUST GRAND. I AM SOOOO PROUD TO BE HER FAN AND THOSE WHO STAY NEGATIVE WITH HER...SHAME ON U...YALL MUST NOT HAVE KIDS OR KNOW WHAT AMBITION IS BECAUSE NO TRUE GO-GETTER WOULD EVER FEEL LIKE SHE IS TOO MUCH. IF KIDS COULD STAY LEVEL MINDED ABOUT THEIR GOALS AND JUST PUSH...PUSH...PUSH TO GET THERE...IM JUST SAYING....THE KNOWLES DID A GREAT JOB ON HER AND SOLANGE...BUT ESPECIALLY MY GAL MS. B!...
