2008 American Music Awards

Neyo did fine but I am so tired of him and those booty tight clothes. Chris is a cutey but I think it's time for him to change his style up a little bit. Where was the crackhead Lil Wayne? He is a waste of talent he needs to get some serious help. I think folks are gettin tired of him. Christina and Pink looked like trash with those getups that they had on. Brothas and sistah took that award show in my opinion. Mylie Cyrus did a good job but what does she classify herself as these days...A Rocker? What exactly does Paris do?

Rhianna did good I like her and she deserved all that she got; she seems to keep it real. Beyonce is talented by far but sometimes I think she is trying to purposely outdo other artists by the way she walked off when she finished her performances as if she was "lettin somebody know" type attitude. Someitmes I am feeling her and sometimes not. Alicia Keyes is great; she seems to be the most down to earth. I was always a fan of Latifah until I read that she got a stanky attitude; she just seems to me like she really believes that she's royalty. wow. TPain gets on my nerves.

Everyone looked nice-yes Toccara had on a bit too much make-up and Queen Latifah looks SO uncomfortable in dresses...but overall I think 'we' represented well at the show. But I do have to agree with another post about how rude Queen Latifah is to her fans. I too have heard stories about how mean she's been to some of her biggest supporters: Beyonce's not much better. When major magazines or TV shows court her she acts sweet as pie but otherwise she's nasty too. Folks should be grateful for their success and remember that they CHOSE to be famous. We all deserve some respect.

Rihanna looked AMAZING! Shes such a Beautiful girl I love her shes my favorite and she sound amazing when she performed..A lot of the other acts were very good as well not just the African American act. Such as Sarah Maglockin(sp) and pink..they did a beautiful duet together and even those little jonas brothers and Miley Cyrus did good lol. Im talking like im 27 or something but im 17 but anyway Beyonce...Boo...i've never been a big fan of Beyonce shes okay .. but i love rihanna wayyy more ..but she did okay last night

Beyonce can tone down the outfits a tab, she can really dance and got it going on, but sometime more is better. I agree that Rihanna always look like Prince especially with that hair do. Always amazed that she has gotten so far and cannot really sing as she is no comparison to many, many,.... especially the likes of Alicia, ... a long list. The leather, metal and gothic look she sports is way too harsh. Mariah really is deserving as is a real songstress, but outfits always look like she tries too hard to look young.

First of all...we are in a state of emergency....keep it positive..each and everyone of my sista's did them...so stop hating and pray that they stay strong. if you don't have anything nice to say...go to the B-I-B-L-E.. envy is not a good look.

Rihanna was elegant as usual. Mariah carey had a great performance. Beyonce was boring and a hot mess last night. That was not cute how she bounced around the stage last night. Loved the alicia keys performance as well

Tocarra looks a mess! If she was going for that "pin-up" look, she missed! She is a gorgeous girl badly in need of a stylist!! As for Rhianna, she does remind me of Prince. *giggles at Tameka for saying it* Beyonce is a beautiful lady, but is over exposed, just tired of seeing her already. UGH! Ready for Jamie's new album Intuition, drops 12/16!!
