Please explain to me why she is 10 shades lighter than what she was when she first came out a couple of years ago.

Reading the blogs is better than reading any article on any web site or magazine. Some of yall are so, so funny :)

Yall got me laughing talking bout Rihanna looks like Prince. I though the same thing when I saw her. Prince could be big brother and Rihanna could be little sister. (I LOVE me some Prince) and I like Rihanna too. I think she is beautiful.

Loved the show, wasn't boring at all, i don't think award shows should always go backwards bringing back old artists, they had their own award shows back then, in plus this was not BET so there was a mixture of R&B, Rock, Pop, Country, etc.......... i wanted to change it a few times but couldn't locate the remote and was too lazy to get up so i watched everyone. For the most part there were a lot of African American Performers for once, Rihanna was good, but once again she reminds me of Prince with her hair like that, Beyonce did her thing as usual in the stilettos, Alicia Keys and QL were good, Leona Lewis was good, but i think she's following in Mariah Carey footsteps, Neyo always has the same show for every song, Kanye gets on my nerves with giving away his awards one year and the next he'll be complaining. All in all good show, Big ups to Chris Brown for winning artist of the Year!

I don't watch the American music awards because it's always boring, and too long. Yeah, Rihanna keeps getting lighter and lighter...hope she doesn't pull a Micheal Jackson.

The pictures look great, I only wish Black celebs would attend award show's like BET, NAACP, and Soul Train Awards. Rihanna's pretty but looks pasty pale in this picture, what happened to her carmel complextion? Mariah Carey is too fat for her dress as usual and people have the nerve to call Tocarra full figured? Queen Latifah & Alicia look beautiful and elegant. Chris Brown looks like Chris Brown. So I see they were no real singer's present. Where were the legends?

What is it about Beyonce that people have a problem with? Is it her talent(s), her beauty, her beastly work ethic, what? Although, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but no one who works that hard should be torn down. Tiffany posted, “NO TRUE GO-GETTER WOULD EVER FEEL LIKE SHE IS TOO MUCH. IF KIDS COULD STAY LEVEL MINDED ABOUT THEIR GOALS AND JUST PUSH...PUSH...PUSH TO GET THERE” Besides, her job is to entertain and for that she deserves a promotion and a raise. Regardless of how you "feel" about her you gotta "respect" that. To Tasha who posted, "Lettin somebody know" type attitude. I think it’s fair to say that was part of the act. I’m sure she wouldn’t have acted that way after singing “Ava Maria”. Perspective anyone?

Regarding fan treatment. After chasing “B” and her bodyguard through the airport I went on about my son who was in love with her but "he's into real girls now.Oh not that you’re not a real girl" I continued, feeling foolish as the words kept spilling from my mouth, Beyonce responded with a smile stating "That's okay. I know what you mean" as she proceeded to sign THREE autographs for me. Needless to say my children have instructed me not to speak…just get the autograph. Queen Latifah was equally pleasant and accommodating . Sorry to those who had a less than favorable experience. And Miss Keys always does something wonderfully different. This time educate via music. How many of us even knew of Kathleen Battle - a black opera singer. Miss Keys always pushes us to expand our minds past what we here on our favorite radio stations, HOT this and BLAZE or POWER that. These women empower us in so many ways. Whether it's with their lyrics, their stories or the all-girl band ;) RESPECT!

And although I am a big Rihanna fan, she has a horrible and boring stage presence. For a portion of her perfromance I couldn't find her on the stage. She needs some tips from her very animated beau Mr. Brown. Even on fast songs like "Please Don't Stop the Music" she moves like she's stuck to the floor. Even her face is most times void of expression except for an occasional wink or smile. Alicia always does something special. This time educate via music. How many knew who Kathleen Battle was? She pushes us to expand our minds past what we hear on our favorite stations HOT this and BLAZE or POWER that. And why isn't anyone complaining about the stripper portion of the show with the Pussycat Dolls with the 5 poles on stage for a prime time show with a TV-14 rating.

I think Tocarra has on just as much make up as the other celebs photographed. I'm glad I missed this show. They have an award show every other week. The same 3 people earn awards. Where are the real singers at? I think the new artist are all manufactured by there recording companies, they have no voice, appreication, or connection to their fans. And why were artist like Chrisette Michelle, Keyshia Cole, Ledsi, Raheem DeVaugh, Anthony Hamliton snubbed? They had the best R&B albums of this year. And Mariah Carey is a joke, I guess she got tired of passing for white, her voice is so weak and hoarse sounding now. They must think people will buy music just because it's in a pretty package no matter how it sounds.
