2008 American Music Awards

I love Rihanna's music and talent, but on that first picture she does remind me of Prince or like she could be his daughter. That's just my opinion. I tend to lighten up in the winter as well but she's looking pale, she may want to go tanning or something soon. Take a trip with Chris Brown, you know how celebs do it.

I really like Rihanna. I think that she is extremely beautiful and talented.I cannot wait to see just how much more success she will have. Also, she has not lightened her skin. Our color tends to change during colder weather just like White people's.She has always been light complected, but tanned.

I missed this award show but it looks like the same people from the MTV, Grammy's, BET, and VH1 Award shows. Sad to say but none of these singer's listed can sing that well (except Mariah Carey and even her voice has gotten weaker over the years) Come on...Neyo , Rihanna, Chris Brown I'm suprised by their success and lack of vocals.

AJ, I agree with some of what you stated, but i have to say again Beyonce is doing her thing.......I'm a fan of her music and the way she carries herself. People have to look at the fact that her music is fun as well as deep and inspirational all in one. Honestly i've never heard of Beyonce being rumored to dating a lot of celebrity dudes (only Jay z), i haven't read about her getting drunk and driving, going to the club and wowing out (not sure if i said that right), having kids out of wedlock, taking illegal drugs, etc...........i mean for the most part her music is wholesome and we have to remember she isn't 15 years old anymore like when Destiny's child first came out. B is my girl and is definitely reppin for the grown and sexy women.

Neena and MJ, I agree with both of you. Both your comments are very intelligent. This is just my opinion: Gently: I like Beyonce's music, but I think she should have given her sister a chance. to establish herself a little bit, then come out with her music. Beyonce is already a mega star. We don't have to take competition to this length. Venus and Serena's is somewhat similar becasue they are sisters, but a little different. I know that other people may see it differently, but don't compete with your siblings like that. I know Venus and Serena are in compitition, but this I say again is different. I don't have anything against Beyonce.

I read the magazine ...the one when beyonce is on front..i loved it..but something stood out..the one when the guy was on there saying that there was no love for nice guys..and i totally disagree. for one i "think" that the so called nice guys goes after the high maintence women..who wants alot...and they over look the normal girls cause they might not haved sparkled as much and they have the nerve to wonder why "they" get shot down....i went out with plenty of friends and men always go after the sparkly ones..what about us plain girls that does not want alot of attention and wants a normal, simple nice guy?
